The National Test Pilot School in Mojave, California, is the civilian equivalent of the Air Force Test Pilot School.  We were shown a promotional video and talked with one of the instructors for a while.  Many of the instructors a graduates of the Air Force Test Pilot School.  Flight test pilots, engineers, and managers from around the world have been instructed at this school.
 
 

Here we begin our tour of NTPS's extensive fleet of aircraft.  We were shown three separate hangers with the most diverse group of aircraft around.
 
 
 
 

The supersonic SK-35 Drakens were admired by our group.  The NTPS maintains four of these aircraft four use by their students during flight test pilot training.
